Three month catch up

Last I posted it was Logan's birthday.  Where has the time gone?  I have been busier than I've ever been in my life.  The days are flying by and they are so full and interesting.

Since my last post:

Hannah turned 17.  She celebrated with dinner out with her close friends (and Brynne), followed by cake and karaoke at our house.  The girls are adorable and I love to see them hang out.  They are so nice and cute to each other.
This is Hannah's best face.  I wish I could remember why she made this face.   Anyway.  She is growing into such a lovely young woman - almost an adult.  Love this girl.

Logan was able to go to the Temple with Josh for his first time doing baptisms.  Managed to squeeze it in before the temple shut down for the summer.  Great experience.

The YW had a daddy-daughter 50s dance.  Loved this picture.  They played a game similar to the Newlywed Game in which both girls were able to correctly guess their dad's favorite subject in school.  They both said, "he was a nerd, so Physics".  True that.

Fay-Bay reached her 18 month mark.  Still not talking much but she is grown so much and is such a fun kid.  Kenna is my big helper most days.  She loves to be a little mama.

The kids and I went hiking a lot this spring....

I was able to chaperone one of Logan's field trips.  We went to Fort Ross and it was a fantastic day!  Logan got to be in the militia, which meant his little group was in charge of firing the cannon.  Oh how those boys loved that!

We took two camping trips this summer - the first to Spring Lake in Santa Rosa, which is our city camping place.  We usually end up at the mall, but this time we also went to Jack London State Park. The coolest thing at JLSP were the lizards - everywhere!  Lizards are a rarity in FB due to our lack of warm sunny weather.  We went to church in the Shiloh park ward (Windsor) and saw one of our favorite missionaries.  yay!
Our second trip was to "our" campground: Richardson Grove.  That was a beautiful place to camp.  I would love to go back again.  We spent an afternoon at the river and another day hiking in the redwoods.

On the way home from Richardson Grove we stopped at Confusion Hill.  We decided since we always take advantage of their free bathrooms and playground when we make our trips to Oregon and back, we would pay to visit the gravity-defying attraction.  It was.....interesting.  I got nauseous and couldn't finish it.

That gets us through June.  Stay tuned for the July catchup once all the pictures have been retrieved.
