We had such a great two weeks in Oregon/Washington.  Here is a snippet of our fun....

Made it to Washington to visit Shannon and Bryan and their family.  Had a blast on the boat.  Turns out, Nat is a bit of a daredevil as long as her face is dry.  ;-)

Spent an afternoon/evening with Julia and her awesome family, but didn't take a picture of us - darn it!





Finished up with a couple nights in Grants Pass....

I was so irritated on Sunday.  Stake Conference is this weekend and it was announced that our visiting GA was inviting all youth 12+ to the Saturday evening adult session. I immediately thought: "Thank you for un-inviting me , and many of my friends". Any mom in the stake with children until 12 probably won't be there.  Unless Grandma steps in. I vented my frustration to my poor husband.  He just assumed that I would take precedence over attending and one of our older girls would babysit.  I told him that's not how moms think -and most likely that other moms in the stake wouldn't be leaving their teens at home.  Plus, what about those moms who only have young children? You've just effectively taken away all their babysitters. He said that he did make this argument a month ago when the meeting was being discussed.  I guess he got outvoted. When these sorts of decisions come down - I have to say that it makes me grumpy.  Don't the people making...

I think I posted this photo on Facebook....can't wait until my girls are home and I can hear all about EFY!!!   I have missed them but know they are having a blast. My little girl loves her baths!  She's turned into a monster crawler, and this week learned to pull herself up to a standing position, so baby-proofing just went to the next level.  She loves to play with her siblings.  She follows them around while they enact their pretend plays and chews on things while she watches whatever they are doing.  She is darling and we love every second with this girl! Four days after scout camp, the scouts had the unique opportunity to earn their archeology merit badge.  They were able to participate in a real 'dig' a couple hours south and be taught by an archeologist about what they were looking for.  They found some Indian arrowheads and Logan was able to bring home some obsidian souvenirs.   Boys love dirt! Summer recap

I haven't posted since graduation - summer has been busy! Our Edward Jones summer regional was in Sunriver this year - we played it cool and spent a lot of time at the pool every day. However, we dressed up for the two dinners.... Perhaps you recognize us better  by our aliases...but here is the latest family photo...minus a couple of big kids. Josh somehow thought 80s Prom theme = 80s kegger...but whatevs.  We drove home late Saturday night after summer regional in order to be at church the day Josh released me as Relief Society president...  that was a super emotional day.  I thought after six weeks of working through those emotions I would have them all under control. And I was okay until about 5 minutes before RS when someone came up to talk to me and I just burst into tears.  And cried all through the opening exercises, which I had to conduct because BOTH my counselors had family emergencies that day and had to be gone.  So I wa...
