January melts into February

 So let's talk about 2023!

After the wedding and after Christmas we took a trip to Idaho to catch up with Hannah's family and see Josh's parents.  There was some illness so we didn't spend as much time with them as we'd anticipated, but we still had a nice visit.

Josh had his very first stake presidents training up in Burien, WA (outside Tacoma) and I snuck up with him.  We got an AirBnB right on the sound and enjoyed the views.  When Josh was in his meetings I read books and did some planning for singing time and other things.  It was super relaxing.  Also, Burien has a darling downtown and we had fun exploring!

Faith spent all of January in and out of some weird virus that caused massive hives, puffy eye, and general discomfort.  The doctors couldn't figure it out but they did rule out the dangerous things.  She did three rounds of fever, puffy eye, rash, better over the course of January and then it all just stopped - for which we were all so grateful!

We did have one of the best ER visits ever where we had almost zero wait, were treated like royalty, and only there start to finish for less than three hours - included a CT scan and waiting for results for several tests.  Ah, the blessings of doctor friends who look out for you!

So the other crazy thing about January and February is that we got SO. MUCH. SNOW.  And had a few snow days in there.

Kenna's orchestra had a field trip and we got to get in on that!  Grandpa T. joined us.  I introduced him to pupusas - an El Salvadoran savory dish.

For posterity - family scripture study on a Sunday - one of the good days.  I love sunny sabbath mornings!

My main people having dinner!

a family hike - the crew keeps getting smaller and smaller.

more snow....

Our family Valentine's dinner!

Twins.  And on Wednesdays we wear....our BYU t-shirts!
