January is SNOW Delightful!
After Christmas we trundled off to Sunriver to get away and enjoy some snow! This guy does not look trustworthy. Why yes! That is a snowball in his hands about to be launched in my direction. We love to play games and be cozy by the fireplace and eat yummy food. This year we tried something new - Logan and Jordan came and spent a couple nights with us and we did an official snowshoeing tour. It was amazing - so cool. We did a forest ranger tour and learned so much about how the snow impacts the forest (and tips and tricks for being safe). There's a little ice cream place in Bend that we love. So we went. We also found a Thai restaurant that is next level delicious. It serves northern Thai cuisine. The first time we ate there I looked a menu full of names of unfamiliar dishes and got a little nervous.
