New York, New York

Image
The orchestra took a trip to New York City and I got to tag along as a chaperone.  It was WAY more fun than I anticipated.  The photos are out of order so I'll just go with it... Lunch one day was just cheesecake at at the iconic Junior's. We love Portland airport!  Also, taking 85 people through an airport is no joke...and not fast. The LDS contingent in front of the Manhattan Temple! Airporting.... Enjoying the Philharmonic at Lincoln Center The MET!  Such an amazing museum - you could spend years there. Dinner cruise - we saw the Statue of Liberty at sunset and then danced til we dropped! Top of the ROCK!  I love Rockefeller tower - the views are amazing Here we are down below it, heading over to the famous ice skating arena. The whole reason for the trip - a performance at Carnegie Hall It's such a beautiful venue We popped into the Plaza Hotel (featured in the Eloise books) and it had a  darling bookstore tucked into a balcony. Our very last meal in NYC - the best bag
